Dr. Charles Keen served as Pastor of First Baptist Church of Milford, Ohio for 35 years. He led the church to become one of the premier missions churches of our generation, sending 50+ families to the foreign field and giving hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to world missions.

In the early 1970's, a Bearing Precious Seed ministry was founded in Milford with the goal of bringing the printing God's Word back into the church. Literally millions of copies of God's Word have been printed and distributed through the effort of Bearing Precious Seed.

After resigning from the pastorate, the Lord led Dr. Keen to found FirstBible International, a ministry whose focus would be Bible translating and publishing. Of the more than 7,000 languages in the world, approximately 400 of them have a whole Bible. Seeing the Scripture published in the heart language of those who do not have it is the burden of FirstBible International.
